Jahshaka is the world's first OpenSource Realtime Editing and Effects System. Taking advantage of the power of OpenGL and OpenML to give its users exceptional levels of performance. We currently support OS X, Linux, Irix, and Windows... and Solaris is on the way! Jahshaka is licensed to the public under the GNU GPL agreement.
Jahshaka is a state of the art, hardware-accelerated editing and effects system. By using the full power of OpenGL to render effects, our goal is to create a Really Real Time system (RRT). Most commercial systems on the market are a far cry from being RRT and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
By keeping the real tools out of the hands of the creative masses, it makes it impossible for the real talents to shine, our goal is to make this a reality for everyone.
